This corner is dedicated to my travels through university life and what came after.
I was never a writer. And still I'm not. But in the end, I have such a lovely website.
I first came to Gölcük with my university’s trekking club. It was late June, and I instantly fell in love with its ambiance. The scenery looked so beautiful that it didn’t feel real. So much so I came back just to check it was in fact real.
If I had the chance, I’d take my loved ones and make sure they see this amazing park at least once in their lives.
Flying for the first time in my life with my high school friends to see a new country? Sign me in! Whether it’s cozy Airbnbs, fine dining, cheap alcohol, the stunning traces of Soviet architecture, or the breathtaking natural fauna of the Black Sea - it has everything. Somewhere in one of those unexpected art galleries tucked away on a corner, I realized I needed to study art history. I needed to see.
Who would've guessed that the world's second largest (in terms of surface area) canyon was hidden in Uşak, Turkey? We miss out on so much amidst the chaos and confusion of life.
Such unexpected memories. Now I understand way better why they say the best years are your university years.
My first ever solo trip and ceartinly the most unexpected one.
I seriously can’t stress enough how good it feels to joining university clubs are.
What is a Cheap Charlie?
You should come here on a snowy winter day to drink Irish Car Bomb and play board games with your friends. I'll come back for the summer. Edit: You bet i did.
Countless summers unfolded here. Never fully appreciated its worth. Almost Fujitora'd myself.
My homeland. No corner of the world matches you. How lucky I am.
Unexpected. Honestly just wow.
Traveller not a tourist.
